DANA SENTIMENTALIGHT / Branding By Giraff



Dana Ben-Dov designs unique light fixtures from antique vases, ornamental items and porcelain tableware. Every piece tells a story of times gone by, of places, people and dreams. Each light fixture is a one-of-a-kind and assigned a unique catalog number authenticating its originality.

For Dana Sentimentalight, Giraff created a branding strategy that achieves a delicate balance between the product category - lighting & furniture – and its sources of inspiration in art and antiquities. The products are sold in high-end lighting and design stores to a target market of collectors and people who value unique items.
 
The Dana Sentimentalight brand development focused on creating a presence of exclusiveness and impeccable design. The design creates a strong brand identity that allows Dana Ben-Dov to express her creativity, develop new product lines and adopt new styles.
 
The Dana Sentimentalight branding process developed the brand name, product categories, logos, branding story and design language. The project deliverables included a identity catalog and min-catalog, which includes the unique catalog number, for each lighting fixture.
